My Good School Day - global implications

My Good School opened for the world on the 18th of July 2020 with Dr Karl Clauset as the Guest Of Honour, RP Devgan Chairman Learning Forward India, Board Members of Learning Forward, School Heads, Educators and passionate people who love to help schools deliver better.  A tailor-made school experience for every individual. We see the possibility of a nation where every school offers young people the opportunity to be rewarded for challenging themselves, rewarded for engaging with adult mentors, rewarded when finishing school, and rewarded for giving back to their communities. We believe we can help connect young people with new opportunities to change their world. My Good School is a standard common core curriculum, with a focus on the personal and social development of an individual; by offering an environment where experiential learning is made possible through activities beyond just study; this brings to life learning that would otherwise be theoretical and uncoordinated. Encouraging students to become involved in activities in the community outside the confines of the school curriculum will help develop their confidence, knowledge and networks. With teachers’ encouraging young people, they can benefit fully from what both the school and outside interests can offer, this can be a key factor in their progressing successfully through adolescence into a fulfilling and rewarding adult life. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/learningforward/support
