Awarded in 2008 The Sydney Region Achievement & Service Award, for Outstanding Service by a Parent or Community Member. Peter’s various professional and voluntary appointments include CEO Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Australia; Chair Advisory Council, SIDS & Kids; Judge, Local & Regional NSW Small Business Award; Local Controller, State Emergency Services (Ashfield-Leichhardt), Member, Kids in Need NSW. Peter was appointed Member of the Order of Australia and was the Australia Day Citizen of the Year for his local community. Peter is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts.  A life devoted to people, care and compassion are his hallmarks. Peter says education shapes itself in many different ways, he talks about individual qualities, shares with us how the education journey is not necessarily a knowledge journey.
