Back in 1998, I first stepped into the world of authors with the Guide to Good Schools of India, which was a fantastic way to dive into my love for education and team up with schools to figure out what makes them truly special. That journey is still going strong, with more books like the Guide to Schools of Doon, Taking Learning Forward at The Fabindia School and, of course, the beloved “My Good Schools - Where Passion Meets Education”, which came out in 2021. And now, we’re excited to share the new version of the Good Schools of India on Substack!
As the founder of Good Schools Alliance since 2021, I have led a collaborative platform that empowers learners and connects schools with program partners to improve the quality of education.
Through initiatives like open access to educational resources, fellowship opportunities, and professional learning communities, the platform fosters growth and innovation in education.
With over four decades of experience at The English Book Depot, I have helped transform a family-owned bookstore into a vibrant cultural hub, pioneering India’s first Book Café concept.
Through Learning Forward India, I develop professional learning programs for educators focused on enhancing students’ critical thinking, creativity, and citizenship.
My mission is to nurture inclusive and impactful educational ecosystems that promote collaboration and lifelong learning.
