Back in 1998, I first stepped into the world of authors with the Guide to Good Schools of India, a fantastic way to dive into my love for education and to partner with schools to understand what makes them truly special. That journey is still going strong, with more books like the Guide to Schools of Doon, Taking Learning Forward at The Fabindia School, and, of course, the beloved “My Good Schools - Where Passion Meets Education”, which came out in 2021. And now, we’re excited to share the new version of the Good Schools of India on Substack!

Since 2021, as the founder of Good Schools Alliance, I have led a collaborative platform that empowers learners and connects schools with programme partners to improve the quality of education. Through initiatives such as open access to educational resources, fellowship opportunities, and professional learning communities, the platform fosters growth and innovation in education.

With over four decades of experience at The English Book Depot, I have helped transform a family-owned bookstore into a vibrant cultural hub and have pioneered India’s first Book Café concept. Through our Learning Forward India Foundation, we deliver professional learning programs for educators to enhance students’ critical thinking, creativity, and citizenship.
